Peppermint Oil
Peppermint oil is great for getting rid of spiders and mice both hate the scent. Mix 20 drops of Peppermint oil and distilled water in a spray bottle and spray everywhere!!
Fill any gaps
Fill any gaps that mice or spiders can get through. If you are renting fill the spots with steel wool as the mice cant chew through it.
Put any open food in an air tight container.
I also make sure I vacuum under the kitchen table, to remove any crumps dropped through the day.
Put any pet food away
Feed early in the morning so that its gone by the evening.
Clean up grass clippings
Mice can use this as bedding.
Create a mozzie repelling pot
This can be done by using lemon grass place next to back door or BBQ area.
It can also be used as a hedging plant for garden beds.
